UFC on Fuel TV 5 will take place from the Capital FM Arena with the main card bouts airing live on Fuel TV at 4PM ET.
The main event of Saturday’s card features heavyweights Stefan Struve (24-5) and Stipe Miocic (9-0) colliding. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, Miocic is the favorite in this bout, as he has odds of -225 to win, while Struve has a money line of +185. Struve is a very tall and long fighter with great submission skills while Miocic is more compact and powerful. Miocic likes to use his striking to win fights while Struve relies on his ground game, especially off his back. Struve has struggled against good technical strikers, which Miocic is, but if this fight gets to the ground, it could be trouble for Miocic.
In the co-main event, welterweights Dan Hardy (24-1) and Amir Sadollah (6-3) meet. According to the oddsmakers, Hardy is favored to win, as he has odds of -200. Sadollah has been given a money line of +160 to win. Hardy is from Nottingham, and will have the crowd on his side. He also has 1-punch knockout power, which could be a problem for Sadollah, who typically relies on muay thai striking. Sadollah’s best bet to win is getting Hardy to the ground, where he has struggled to get off his back when taken down.
