ATHENS, GA (ATS Consultants) – No. 6 Georgia looks to pick up a sizeable victory on Saturday at 12:21PM ET when the Bulldogs host Buffalo from Sanford Stadium.
Georgia went 10-4 overall last season and 8-5-1 against the spread. The Bulldogs were 4-1 ATS as a home favorite and 3-2 ATS in non-conference play in 2011. Buffalo was just 3-9 last season and 6-6 against the spread. The Bulls were only 2-4 ATS on the road and 2-2 ATS in non-conference play in 2011.
Odds: The oddsmakers have Georgia as the clear favorite in this contest, giving them a point spread of -37.5 against Buffalo at home. The over/under total for the game has been set at 53 points
Line Movement: Opening odds had Georgia favored by 36.5 points. The odds have made a slow climb up all week, adding the additional point to the spread.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL FREE PICK: Georgia is 15-21 ATS as a double-digit favorite since 2004. Georgia is a near-40 point favorite in their home opener. This is a good football team but that line is awfully high. This is a team that routinely scored in the twenties last year and wasn’t always dominate defensively, allowing 45 points to South Carolina and 33 to Michigan State in the Outback Bowl. Buffalo will go with junior QB Alex Zordich, who saw limited time last year but they do return stud running back Brandon Oliver, who ran for 1,395 yards and 13 TDs. Buffalo returns seven starters on defense for former Illinois coach Lou Tepper, who takes over as coordinator. Georgia should win by a lot but not enough to cover.
