(TheSpread) โ The 2012 NBA Playoffs are down to their final four. Here is an updated look at the odds to win this yearโs NBA Finals.
According to oddsmakers, the Miami Heat and the San Antonio Spurs are now co-favorites to win the NBA Finals as they each have 8/5 odds to win. Other odds have the Oklahoma City Thunder at 11/4 and the Boston Celtics at 10/1
Miami is the No. 2 seed in the East and will host Boston in the conference finals. The Heat escaped a tricky series with Indiana, winning in six games despite not having Chris Bosh for most of the series. Boshโs status for the conference finals is unknown.
The Spurs are the top seed in the West. They begin their series with Oklahoma City today with the home court edge. San Antonio is 8-0 in the playoffs thus far after sweeping Utah and the Clippers.
Oklahoma City is the No. 2 seed in the West. The Thunder swept the defending champion, Dallas Mavericks, in the opening round and the unseated the L.A. Lakers in five games to reach the conference finals.
Boston is the No. 4 seed in the East. The Celtics were taken deep into their first two series. They beat the Hawks in the opening round in six games and then topped the 76ers in round two in seven games.
