UFC on FOX 3 will take place from the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, N.J. at 8PM ET with a main event that has lightweights Jim Miller (21-3) and Nate Diaz (15-7) colliding. According to oddsmakers, Millers is the favorite to win this bout, as he has a money line of -225, while Diaz has odds of +185 to prevail. Diaz has been on a roll since a return to lightweight, winning two impressive fights over Takanori Gomi and Donald Cerrone. Diaz is a submission specialist with very improved boxing. His long range has given opponents a lot of trouble as of late. Miller has won eight of his last nine, as his wrestling and submission fighting have been overwhelming for most foes.
The co-main event features a welterweight showdown between Josh Koscheck (17-5) and Johny Hendricks (12-1). According to oddsmakers, this is an even fight, as both competitors have a money line of -115 to win. Koscheck has the experience edge, as he has fought in bigger situations. He has big-time power in his hands with very strong wrestling, but his actual striking is not very technical. Hendricks is very similar, as he has big power in his hands and is also an accomplished wrestler. The wrestling may be nullified, so this fight could come down to who lands the big punch first.
