According to oddsmakers, the Miami Heat are the favorites to win the playoffs, with 2/3 odds. Other short odds to win are the Chicago Bulls (3/2), the Boston Celtics (8/1), and the New York Knicks (10/1).

Miami is the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference. The Heat are 46-20 this season and 35-13 in the Eastern Conference. The Heat have won the conference title two times, including last yearโ€™s chacmpionship.

Chicago is the top seed in the East with a 50-16 record. The Bulls were 38-10 against conference opponents, which was tops of any team in the East. The Bulls have won 6 conference titles, with the last coming in 1998.

Boston will be the No. 4 seed in the East. The Celtics were 39-27 on the season and 32-16 in conference play. The Celtics have won 21 conference titles, with the last coming in 2010.

The Knicks will be the No. 7 seed in the playoffs. New York is 36-30 on the season and 28-20 against conference opponents. New York last won the East in 1999 and they have eight conference titles in franchise history.
