Wolf went 7 innings while allowing just two runs on six hits and striking out six. Solo shots by Allen Craig and Matt Holliday were all the Cardinals could muster scoring-wise.
St. Louis will have the opportunity to reclaim their series lead tonight at 8:05PM ET in Game 5. Milwaukee will send Zach Greinke to the mound against St. Louis starter Jaime Garcia.
Greinke started Game 1 of this series in Milwaukee, allowing six runs on eight hits in 6.0 innings pitched. The Brewers won that game 9-6 on the strength of their bats, lighting up Garcia for six earned runs on six hits in just 4.0 innings of work. Garcia allowed two home runs, walked three and struck out three in a losing effort.
