(The Spread) – It doesn’t get any better than two Game 5s in one night. Check out the opening odds for both of tonight’s NLDS matchups.

After the Arizona Diamondbacks won two straight home games to even things up with the Brewers, the series shifts back to Milwaukee for Game 5 this evening at 5:00PM ET.  The last time these two teams met in Milwaukee, the Brewers took Games 1 and 2 at Miller Park.

Oddsmakers have made the Brewers -145 money line favorites over the Diamondbacks, who are +136 on the ML tonight. The over/under total for this game is currently set at 7.5 runs as Ian Kennedy will take on Yovani Gallardo.

In the second Game 5 matchup of the night, the Philadelphia Phillies will host the St. Louis Cardinals at 8:30PM ET. The Cardinals forced a fifth game by beating the Phillies on Wednesday night in St. Louis.

Oddsmakers list the Phillies as -178 money line favorites over the Cardinals, who will throw ace Chris Carpenter against Philadelphia’s top gun, Roy Halladay. According to latest MLB trends, the Cardinals are 6-0 in Carpenter’s last six starts against the Phillies and 5-0 in his last five road starts against Philadelphia.  The over is also 6-1-1 in Carpenter’s last eight road starts versus the Phillies and 4-1 in his last five road starts against Philadelphia.
