(The Spread) – Three teams face elimination on Tuesday when the 2011 MLB Playoffs continue.

The Tampa Bay Rays’ season will be on the line at 2:00PM ET when they host the Texas Rangers, who won Game 3 on Monday in order to take a 2-1 series lead. Tampa Bay has opened as -113 money line favorites against Texas, which is +106 on the ML. The over is now 3-1-1 in the last four meetings between these two teams.

Staying in the American League, the Detroit Tigers will look to eliminate the New York Yankees at 8:30PM ET. The Tigers defeated the Yankees on Monday night and have now won two in a row against the Bombers. Oddsmakers have yet to release the opening line for Game 4, as New York has yet to name a starter (although A.J. Burnett is expected to pitch). Detroit, however, will throw Rick Porcello.

The third elimination game will take place in Arizona as the Diamondbacks host the Milwaukee Brewers at 9:30PM ET. The Brewers won the first two games of this NLDS in Milwaukee and can sweep the Diamondbacks tonight. Oddsmakers have installed the Brewers as -110 money line favorites against the Diamondbacks, who are +104 on the ML.

The only non-elimination game is at 5:00PM ET as the St. Louis Cardinals host the Philadelphia Phillies in Game 3 of the NLDS. The Phillies are -133 money line favorites against the Cardinals, who are +125 on the ML. According to latest MLB trends, the under is 5-2-1 in the last eight meetings between these two teams in St. Louis, while Philadelphia is 2-5 in its last seven games against the Cardinals.
