Thursday MLB Opening Odds
(The Spread) – New series open up across baseball on Thursday. Check out the opening odds for tonight’s MLB action.
A potential postseason matchup will take place in Milwaukee tonight when the Brewers host the Phillies at 8:10PM ET. Oddsmakers have installed Cole Hamels and Philadelphia as –145 money line favorites versus the Brew Crew, who are +135 on the ML. The Phillies are 4-0 in their last four road games versus the Brewers and 4-1 in Hamels’ last five starts versus Milwaukee.
American League Central divisional foes will do battle in Chicago at 8:10PM ET when the White Sox host the Indians. The White Sox have opened as –145 money line favorites while the visiting Tribe are +135 on the ML. The under is 4-1 in the last five meetings between these two teams while the Indians are just 4-13 in their last 17 games versus Chicago.
The Braves and Mets will play a double-header at 4:10PM ET and 7:10PM ET. In the first game, visiting Atlanta is a –115 money line favorite while the Mets are –115 money line favorites in Game 2. According to latest MLB trends, the under is 22-10-1 in the last 33 meetings between these two teams.
Finally the Yankees will travel to Baltimore for a 1:05PM ET start with the Orioles, who are +175 money line home underdogs versus New York (-185). The Bombers are 46-14 in their last 60 games against the Orioles and 22-8 in their last 30 road games versus Baltimore.
