Saturday MLB Opening Odds
(The Spread) – Saturday’s MLB odds are out, including the line for the Yankees-Twins game tonight at 7:10PM ET.
Oddsmakers have made the visiting Yankees –140 money line favorites over the host Twins, who are +130 on the ML. The Yankees are 6-0 in A.J. Burnett’s last six starts versus the Twins and 60-19 in their last 79 games versus the Twins, who are 0-6 in Francisco Liriano’s last six starts versus New York.
In the American League Central, the Tigers are –145 money line favorites over the visiting Indians, who are +135 on the ML. The under is 4-1 in the last five meetings between these two teams and 11-4 in the last 15 meetings between these two teams in Detroit. The Tribe is also 7-20 in its last 27 road games versus the Tigers.
The first-place Phillies will visit Washington again where they’re –120 money line favorites versus the Nationals (+113). According to latest MLB trends, Washington is just 1-8 in John Lannan’s last nine home starts versus the Phillies and 1-13 in his last 14 starts against Philly.
Also in the National League, the Braves are –180 money line home favorites versus the Diamondbacks, who are +170 on the ML. The over is 5-1 in the last six meetings between these two teams in Atlanta and 8-4 in the last 12 meetings between these two teams overall.
