Wednesday MLB Opening Odds
(The Spread) – Can the Arizona Diamondbacks continue their assault on the National League? Check out Wednesday’s MLB odds.
The red-hot D-Backs notched their seventh-straight victory on Tuesday when they scored two runs in the ninth inning off Phillies’ ace Roy Halladay. If they want to keep their streak alive, they’ll have to beat another ace on Wednesday, as they’ll face Cliff Lee tonight at 7:05PM ET. Arizona is +220 money line underdogs, while Philadelphia is –240 on the ML.
Another hot National League team will be in play tonight when the Brewers host the Dodgers at 8:10PM ET. Milwaukee has won five-straight and is –185 money line favorites versus L.A., which is +175 on the ML. According to latest MLB trends, the Dodgers are 4-2 in their last six road games against Milwaukee and 5-3 in their last eight games versus the Brewers overall.
In the American League, the Yankees have taken a half-game lead over the Red Sox in the East after winning their third straight. They’ll take on the Royals at 8:10PM ET tonight, where they’re –160 money line favorites versus Kansas City (+150). The Yankees are 64-24 in their last 88 meetings against the Royals and 13-6 in their last 19 road games versus Kansas City.
