Western Conference Finals Odds
(TheSpread) – The 2011 NBA Western Conference Finals are finally set and will begin on Tuesday with Oklahoma City taking on Dallas.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com the Mavericks are favored to win the series with 1/2 odds while the Thunder have odds of 17/10.
The Mavericks are the No. 3 seed in the West and will have the home court edge in the series. Dallas was the team to end the L.A. Lakers run as the Mavericks swept them in the second round. Dallas also defeated Portland in the first round of the playoffs. Dallas has yet to lose a game at home during the playoffs.
Oklahoma City is the No. 4 seed in the West and the Thunder reached the conference finals by beating Memphis in the second round in seven games. It was the first playoff series this year to go to seven games. Oklahoma City also beat Denver in the first round in give game. The Thunder have two road wins in the playoffs after not winning a single playoff road game last year. This is their first conference finals appearance in franchise history.
