(TheSpread) – The 2011 NBA Eastern Conference Finals is set to begin this weekend featuring the top two seeds as Chicago takes on Miami.

According oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com the Heat are the favorites to win the series with 1/2 odds to win while the Bulls come in with 17/10 odds.

Miami is the No. 2 seed in the East. The Heat opened the playoffs by beating No. 7 Philadelphia in five games and then followed it up by beating No. 3 Boston in five games. Both losses the Heat suffered were on the road. LeBron James and Dwayne Wade are each averaging 26 points per game to lead Miami.

Chicago is the No. 1 seed in the East and the Bulls beat No. 8 Indiana in the opening round in five games and the beat No. 5 Atlanta in six games to reach the conference finals. Chicago fell behind 1-0 to the Hawks but won four of the next five to close the series. Season MVP, Derrick Rose has been leading the team in the playoffs, as he averages 28.8 points per game.
