CFB Week 13 Line Movement

Point spreads have been on the move all week in College Football and here is a closer look at all the line changes in the key games for Saturday.

In one of the top-25 games on Saturday, No. 7 Stanford takes their home field to host Oregon State. According to oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com the Cardinal opened as a 15-point favorite against the Beavers, but that line has not held strong. All week long, the odds have been shrinking before closing for today’s game at Stanford -13. Oddsmakers feel the Cardinal -15 is not getting enough play and trying to make the game for enticing for betters.

2010 College Football Week 13 Line Movements (For Top 25 Games Only)

Virginia vs. No. 13 Virginia Tech, Noon ET

Opening odds had Virginia Tech favored by 23.5 points and the spread has since simply dropped down to 23 points. The over/under total opened at 57 and climbed up to 58 before settling in at 57.5.

No. 11 Michigan State vs. Penn State, Noon ET

Opening odds had Michigan State favored by 2 points. The spread dropped back to 1.5 points mid-week. The over/under total hasn’t moved since opening at 51.

Michigan vs. No. 8 Ohio State, Noon ET

Opening odds had Ohio State favored by 17.5 points. The spread climbed up to 18 before falling back to 16.5. The opening over/under total was 63 and that jumped to 64 before settling in at 63.5.

No. 15 Missouri vs. Kansas, 12:30PM ET

Opening odds haven’t changed as the spread opened at Missouri -24.5 and the over/under opened at 51.

BYU vs. No 23 Utah, 3:30PM ET

Opening odds saw Utah as a 10-point favorite. The spread dropped all week before stopping at 8.5. The over/under total hasn’t changed since opening at 50.

No. 21 N.C. State vs. Maryland, 3:30PM ET

Opening odds had N.C. State favored by 2.5 points and the spread has slowly worked its way down to 1.5 points. The over/under total opened at 51.5 and since added another ½ a point.

Florida vs. No. 22 Florida State, 3:30PM ET

Opening odds had Florida State favored by 3 points. The spread has slowly worked its way down to 2 points. The over/under total opened at 51 and has since fallen back to 50.5.

Northwestern vs. No. 5 Wisconsin, 3:30PM ET

Opening odds had Wisconsin favored by 23.5 points. The spread has since dropped the hook and moved down to 23. The over/under total opened at 57 and has since added the hook to get to 57.5.

No. 24 Iowa vs. Minnesota, 3:30PM ET

Opening odds had Iowa favored by 15 points. The spread climbed to 15.5 during the week before closing at 14.5 points. The over/under total opened at 51 and added the hook to get to 51.5 during the week.

No. 6 LSU vs. No. 12 Arkansas, 3:30PM ET

Opening odds had Arkansas favored by 4 points. The spread has since dropped down to 3.5 points. The over/under total opened at 54.5 and is now set at 54.

No. 4 TCU vs. New Mexico, 4PM ET

Opening odds had TCU favored by 42.5 points and the spread climbed up to 43.5 before settling in at 43. The over/under total hasn’t changed since opening at 56.

No. 18 South Carolina vs. Clemson, 7PM ET

Opening odds had South Carolina favored by 3 points and the spread has since dropped down to 2.5 points. The over/under total opened at 44.5 and has now closed at 45.

No. 25 Mississippi State vs. Mississippi, 7PM ET

Opening odds had Mississippi State favored by 2.5 points and the spread has not changed all week. The over/under opened at 55 and has since dropped a point down to 54.

Oregon State vs. No. 7 Stanford, 7:30PM ET

Opening odds had Stanford favored by 15 points but the spread has dropped all week, eventually settling in at 13 points. The over/under opened at 56.5 and has since added a ½ point to get to 57.

No. 14 Oklahoma vs. No. 10 Oklahoma State, 8PM ET

Opening odds had Oklahoma State favored by 2 points. The spread climbed up to 3 during the week before settling in at 2.5 points. The over/under opened at 66.5 and has since climbed up to 67.5.
