As the 10th week of the 2010 College Football Season approaches, here is a breakdown of the trends for this weekend’s top 25 contests.

Trends for this game show that the home team has covered in four of the last five games in this series.

No. 20 Virginia Tech vs. Georgia Tech, 7:30PM ET (Thursday night)
Trends favor the Yellowjackets as the underdog is 4-0 against the spread in the last four games in this series and Georgia Tech is 5-1-1 ATS in their last seven games following a straight up loss.
No. 1 Oregon vs. Washington, 3:30PM ET
Trends favor Oregon as the favorite is 7-0 against the spread in the last seven games of this series and Washington is 0-6 ATS in the last six meetings with Oregon.
No. 2 Boise State vs. Hawaii, 3:30PM ET
Trends actually favor Hawaii here as the Warriors are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games with Boise State while the Broncos are 1-4 ATS in their last five games as a home favorite.
No. 4 TCU vs. No. 6 Utah, 3:30PM ET
The home team is 4-1 against the spread in the last five games of this series and the under has also hit four times in the last five games. TCU is also 1-5 ATS in their last six games after scoring more than 40 points in their previous game.
No. 5 Alabama vs. No. 12 LSU, 8PM ET
The over has hit in the last four games between these two and the road team is 11-2-1 against the spread in the last 14 games of this series while the favorite is also 6-1-1 ATS in their last eight meetings.
