A Dallas legend, Mike Modano, plays his first game against his former team on Thursday when the Detroit Red Wings take on the Stars in Dallas.
The Stars are 2-0 on the season while the Wings are 2-0-1. Both are leading their respective divisions while the Stars are playing their first game at home.
The Stars are 6-2 in this series over the last three seasons and 4-0 at home against the Wings in that span as well.

Trends favor Dallas in this game as the Stars have won their last four games overall and 6-1 in their last seven when their opponent allows five goals or more in there previous game.
Detroit is just 1-5 in their last six games against the Stars and 1-4 in their last five against a team with a winning record.
Also, the Stars are the underdogs at home and you always can feel good about placing your money on a home team in any game.
