The sixth week of the 2010 College Football Season is ready to get into full swing and there are some telling trends for the big games.

The key game of the week has No. 1 Alabama heading to No. 19 South Carolina for a 3:30PM ET kickoff.  Oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL have made the Crimson Tide a 7-point favorite on the road against the Gamecocks and trends show that Alabama is 5-0 against the spread in their last five games on grass and 6-1 ATS in their last seven games overall.

There are 18 games featuring ranked teams this weekend, here are a few trends to consider for each marquee contest:

2010 College Football Week 6 Trends:

No. 22 Oklahoma State vs. Louisana-Lafayette – 9PM ET (Friday)

For this contest, the trends favor Oklahoma State as they are 6-1-1 against the spread in their last eight in October and 4-1-1 ATS in their last six as a road favorite. Louisiana-Lafayette is just 1-4 ATS in their last five non-conference games and 0-4 ATS in their last four after a straight up win.

Minnesota vs. No. 20 Wisconsin – Noon ET

Trends favor Wisconsin in this game as the Badgers are 4-1 ATS in their last five after a straight up loss and 6-1 ATS in their last seven home games against a team with a losing road record. Minnesota is 1-8 ATS in their last nine games after covering the week before.

Indiana vs. No. 2 Ohio State – Noon ET

Trends actually tend to favor Indiana for this game as the Hoosiers are 4-0 against the spread in their last four after allowing more than 40 points the previous week and 4-1 ATS in their last five against a team with a winning record. Ohio State is 4-0 ATS in their last four home games but 2-7 ATS in their last 9 home games against a team with a winning road record.

Colorado State vs. No. 25 Air Force – 2PM ET

Trends for this contest favor Air Force as they Falcons are 13-3 against the spread in their last 16 games against a team with a losing record and 4-1 ATS after failing to cover the spread in their last five. Colorado State is just 3-14 ATS in their last 17 as a road underdog and 0-7 ATS in their last seven games on grass.

Wyoming vs. No. 5 TCU – 3:30PM ET

Trends favor Wyoming in this contest as the Cowboys are 8-0 against the spread in the last eight road games and 5-1 ATS in their last six games as an underdog. TCU is just 2-5 ATS in their last seven as a favorite.

No. 17 Michigan State vs. No. 18 Michigan – 3:30PM ET

The trends are not strong in either team’s favor as Michigan is just 3-7 against the spread in their last 10 games overall and 2-8 ATS in their last 10 October games. Michigan State is 0-3-1 ATS in their last four road games and 2-7 ATS in their last 9 games as an underdog.

No. 11 Arkansas vs. Texas A&M – 3:30PM ET

Arkansas has the trends in its favor for this contest as the Razorbacks are 4-1 against the spread in their last five against a team with a winning record and 6-2 ATS in their last eight against the Big 12. Texas A&M is 0-6 ATS in their last six neutral site games and 0-4-1 ATS in their last five against the SEC.

Trends favor Alabama in this marquee games as the Crimson Tide is 5-0 against their spread in their last give games on grass and 6-1 ATS in their last seven games overall. South Carolina is 1-5 ATS in their last six in October and just 2-6 ATS in their last eight games after failing to cover in the previous game.

No. 3 Oregon vs. Washington State – 5PM ET

Trends for this game favor the Ducks as they are 4-1 against the spread in their last five games overall and 20-6 ATS against a team with a losing record. Washington State is just 1-5 ATS in their last six conference games and 2-7 ATS in their last nine games overall.

Oregon State vs. No. 9 Arizona – 6PM ET

Trends are strong for both teams in this game, but they are slightly stronger for Oregon State as the Beavers are 10-1 against the spread in their last 11 games as a road underdog and 8-1 ATS in their last nine after a bye week. Arizona is 4-0 ATS in their last four after failing to cover in the game before but are just 2-9 ATS in their last 11 as a home favorite of 3.5-to-10 points.

Colorado vs. No. 24 Missouri – 7PM ET

Surprisingly, trends favor Colorado in this game as the Buffaloes are 5-0 against the spread in their last 5 after a bye week and 5-1 ATS in their last six overall. Missouri is just 2-10 ATS in their last 12 versus a team with a winning record and 2-8 ATS in their last 10 conference games.

No. 10 Utah vs. Iowa State – 7PM ET

Trends are strong for both teams as Utah is 6-0-1 against the spread in their last seven games and 5-0-1 ATS in their last six as a favorite. Iowa State is 4-0 ATS in their last four home games and 6-1 ATS in their last seven games on grass.

No. 8 Auburn vs. Kentucky – 7:30PM ET

Trends favor Auburn in this contest as the Tigers are 4-1 against the spread in their last five SEC games while Kentucky is 2-5 ATS in their last seven games as a home underdog.

No. 12 LSU vs. No. 14 Florida – 7:30PM ET

Trends are solidly behind Florida in this game as the Gators are 5-0 against the spread in their last 5 following a loss and 9-2 ATS in their lass 11 games after failing to cover in the game prior. LSU is just 1-4 ATS in their last five against a team with a winning record and 2-5 ATS in their last seven games overall.
