Bengals vs. Browns Odds

Game Preview:

The Bengals are 2-1 but they’re a very shaky 2-1 at the moment. They beat the Ravens in Week 2 despite struggling offensively and they beat the Panthers last week…despite struggling offensively. Carson Palmer has not played well so far and the passing game that was supposed to be upgraded during the offseason has been rather non-existent. At least Mike Zimmer’s defense has played exceptionally well since being burned in New England in the opener.

The Browns are 0-3 but they fought tooth and nail last Sunday in Baltimore. After playing well enough to win in each of their first three games (although playing just poorly enough to lose), Cleveland does have a decent shot of beating their Ohio counterparts this Sunday if they can get their offense going. Peyton Hillis was outstanding last week in the loss to the Ravens, but he needs more help from the passing game if the Browns are to win on Sunday.

Oddsmakers from online sports book BroburySports.com have made the Browns 3-point underdogs against the Bengals in Week 4. Below is a preview of Sunday’s game.

Line Movement & Updated Odds:

The Browns opened as a 3.5-point underdog, but the line has since dropped to +3. The over/under total opened at 37.5 and even though it dropped to 37 at one point, it’s back up to 37.5.

The Bengals, meanwhile, are just 1-4 ATS in their last five versus the AFC.

Game Injuries:

Defensive end Antwan Odom (wrist) is questionable for the Bengals, as are linebacker Keith Rivers (foot) and receiver Jordan Shipley (shoulder). Cedric Benson (knee) and Pacman Jones (shoulder) are probable. For the Browns, Josh Cribbs (ankle), Joe Thomas (elbow), Brian Robiskie (hamstring) Jake Delhomme (ankle) and Jerome Harrison’s (thigh) status are all unknown at this point.
