CFB Week 1 Public Betting Report
The public is pretty set in their feelings on the first week of the 2010 College Football Season, but a few games seem to be too close to call.

Of the top 25 schedule this weekend, nine of the 12 lined games have the public favoring the ranked team with at least 73% of the betting. The closest games are of no surprise, as they are the Monday night battle between No. 3 Boise State and No. 10 Virginia Tech and Saturday night’s game between Oregon State and No. 6 TCU.
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com, Boise State is a 1.5-point favorite over Virginia Tech in Monday’s game at FedEx Field. The Broncos have a slight edge with the public, taking in 52 percent of the betting.
In Saturday’s clash, the underdog, Oregon State, is getting 54 percent of the public betting. The Beavers are 13.5-point dogs against TCU. The Beavers are one of the top teams in the nation that aren’t ranked, but they are searching for a marquee non-conference win. The last non-conference win over a ranked opponent came in 2006 against Hawaii.
