The Australian Open is the first of the four Grand Slam tennis tournaments held annually at Melbourne Park. Like all Grand Slam events, the Australian Open hosts men’s and women’s singles competitions, as well as men’s, women’s and mixed doubles. It’s the only Gland Slam not covered by network television, although both live and taped coverage can be seen on ESPN and the Tennis Channel.
