Never a real BCS contender in the past, Oregon State is looking to change all that in the 2010 College Football Season.

Mike Riley enters his 10th season with the Beavers in 2010 and is coming off his fourth-straight season with at least eight wins.
Oregon State had a very up and down season in 2009, as it won key games over Stanford and Cal, but lost to rivals USC and Oregon.
This year, the Beavers returns 15 starters from 2009, including eight on offense.
Leading the offense is Heisman contender Jacquizz Rodgers, who is similar to C.J. Spiller in his athleticism and speed. Rodgers rushed for 1,440 yards and 21 touchdowns in 2009 while also catching 78 passes for 522 yards and a score.
Rodgers will have to help carry the team along with brother James Rodgers, who caught 91 passes for 1,034 yards and nine touchdowns last season. The brothers will be working in a new quarterback as Ryan Katz is expected to replace graduating Sean Canfield, who threw for 3,271 yards and 21 touchdowns in 2009.
Katz threw 27 passes in 2009 and had one touchdowns and he also has four returning starters on the offensive line, but some early struggles have to be expected.
On defense,
Almost the entire secondary is also back, highlighted by safety Lance Mitchell, who had 72 tackles and three interceptions in 2009.
