The National League has a lot of contenders to win the title as the 2010 Major League Baseball season is at the all-star break.

Oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com have made the Braves 11/4 favorites to win the NLCS. Other short odds to win are
Philadelphia (9/2) and

St. Louis (9/2).

Atlanta has won 17 NL Pennants in franchise history, the last of which came in 1999. The Braves have the best record in the National League at 52-36. They lead the Mets by four games in the NL East.

Atlanta is 30-10 at home but 22-26 on the road.

Atlanta may be motivated by manager Bobby Cox, who will step down following this season.

Philadelphia has won the last two NLCS titles and the Phillies have seven pennants in franchise history. The Phillies are currently third in the NL East, trailing

Atlanta by 4.5 games. The Phillies are 1.5 games back in the Wild Card standings behind
Los Angeles and

Colorado.

St. Louis has won 17 pennants in franchise history to go along with 10 World Series titles. The Cardinals are 47-41 on the season and trail the Cincinnati Reds by one game in the NL Central. The Cardinals are also two games back in the wild card race.
