NBA No. 2 Pick Odds

The
Philadelphia 76ers have the second pick in the 2010 NBA Draft on Thursday and most believe that they are eying

Ohio
State
’s Evan Turner.

Bet NBA Futures Odds

Oddsmakers from online sports book BroburySports.com have given Turner a money line of -400 to become the No. 2 pick while Georgia Tech’s Derrick Favors has a line of +250, Wes Johnson of
Syracuse has a line of +650, and DeMarcus Cousins of

Kentucky
has a line of -1200.

Philadelphia has seemingly been set on Turner for a while but a recent trade of center Samuel Dalembert have some wondering if the 76ers are considering a bigger body like Favors or Cousins.

Turner played three years at Ohio State and last season the guard-forward averaged 20.4 points, 9.2 rebounds, and 6.0 assists per-game, all while shooting 51.9 percent from the field. Turner’s size and athleticism allows him to play a variety of positions.

Favors played one season at Georgia Tech and the power forward averaged 12.4 points, 8.4 rebounds, and 2.1 blocks per-game on the season. Favors shot an impressive 61.1 percent from the field and his 6-foot-10, 246-pound frame gives him a lot of athleticism and power.

Johnson played one season for
Syracuse after transferring from

Iowa
State
, where he played two seasons. Johnson averaged 13.9 points and 7.1 rebounds last season. He was a 45 percent shooter from the field. The 6-foot-7 forward has length, but not a lot of mass at 205 pounds.

Cousins was one of the freshman studs at

Kentucky
this year. The 6-11, 270-pound monster averaged 15.1 points and 9.9 rebounds for the Wildcats on the season. Cousins shot 55.8 percent from the field and his size makes him a promising pro prospect.
