The Western Conference Finals will begin on Sunday as San Jose Sharks and Chicago Blackhawks meet for a right to play for the Stanley Cup.

San Jose a betting line of -115 to win this series while

The Sharks reached the conference finals by defeating

Detroit 4-1 in the semifinals.

San Jose won all four games by one goal as the Sharks scored four goals in three difference contests. In the first round,
San Jose disposed of

Colorado in six games. The Sharks scored five goals or more in three games that series as well, whole holding the Avalanche to two goals or less in five of the six games.

Chicago reached the conference finals by opening with a 4-2 series win over

Nashville. The Blackhawks won the final three games of that series and shutout the Predators in two wins. In the conference semifinals,
Chicago defeated

Vancouver 4-2. The Blackhawks scored at least four goals in each win but allowed at least four in the two losses. Both losses in the series came at home as
Chicago won three games at

Vancouver.

During the season series,

Chicago won three of the four meetings, with three of the games being decided by one goal.

Chicago took more shots in all four games.
