There is no rest for the L.A. Lakers and Utah Jazz as they open their second round series in the 2010 NBA Playoffs on Sunday.

The Lakers are the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference while

Utah is the No. 5 seed. The Lakers are the clear favorites to win the series.

Oddsmakers from online sports book Sports Interaction have given
L.A. a money line of -450 while

Utah has a line of +340.

The Lakers won three of four meetings with the Jazz during the regular season, with all three wins coming by 14 points or more. The Jazz did pick up one win, 102-94 on Dec. 12.

The Lakers are coming off a 4-2 series win over No. 8

Oklahoma City. The home team had won all the games in the series until the Lakers snuck out with a 95-94 road win in game six to lock up the series victory. Pau Gasol tipped in the game-winning shot with less than a second to play to give the Lakers the win in game six. In the series,

L.A. averaged 95.5 points per-game while allowing 93.8 points. The Lakers shot just 44.2 percent from the field but held the Thunder to 39.1 percent shooting.

The Jazz are coming off a 4-2 series win over No. 4

Denver in the first round. The Jazz won all three games on their home court and managed to sneak out a victory on the road to win the series.

Utah averaged 110.5 points per-game in the series while giving up 109.3 points.

Utah shot 50.7 percent from the field to help advance to the second round.
