The second round of the 2010 Stanley Cup Playoffs features an exciting series in the Western Conference as Chicago squares off with Vancouver, beginning on Saturday.

The Blackhawks enter the playoffs as the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference while the Canucks are the No. 3 seed.

Oddsmakers from Online Sportsbook Sportsbook.com have given Chicago a betting line of -150 to win this series while Vancouver has been given a +120 line.

The Chicago Blackhawks scored 112 points this year to win the Central Division.

Chicago racked up 52 wins, most of any Western Conference teams. The Blackhawks scored 271 goals while allowing 209. The Blackhawks haven’t won the Stanley Cup since 1961 and haven’t won the Western Conference title since 1992. Chicago defeated Nashville in the opening round of the playoffs 4-2. Chicago won the final three games of the series and had two wins on the road in the series.

The Canucks entered the playoffs with 103 points as they were champions of the Northwest Division.

Vancouver scored 272 goals this season while allowing only 222.

Vancouver was 30-8-3 at home this season, which was the best home record of any team in the NHL. Vancouver has never won the Stanley Cup but the Canucks have two conference titles, the last of which came in 1994. Vancouver opened the playoffs with a 4-2 series win over Los Angeles. The Canucks also won the last three games of the series, scoring 17 goals in those three games.
