The final 2010 Stanley Cup Playoffs have their finals first round series begin play on Friday when the Chicago Blackhawks take on the Nashville Predators.

The Blackhawks are the No. 2 seed in the West while the Predators is the No. 7 seed.
Oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com have made Chicago the clear favorites to win the series with a money line of -400 while Nashville has a line of +300.
In six meetings this season, Chicago won four of the games. Three of Chicagoβs wins were by at least two goals. The Blackhawks outshot the Predators in all but one game, including one game that Nashville was held to 13 shots.

Patric Hornqvist and Steve Sullivan each racked up 51 points on the year to lead the Predators. Four others had 43 points or more. Hornqvist led Nashville with 30 goals while Sullivan had 34 assists. Pekka Rinne won 32 games in net with seven shutouts and a goals against average of 2.53 with a save percentage of .910.
In this series, the Blackhawks look to have the edge as they have the greater talent. Nashville has plenty of depth, but in the playoffs, you need superstars to step up. Niemi has been solid in net as well for Chicago and the Blackhawks have their eyes on the Stanley Cup this year. Look for Chicago to win this series comfortably.
