2010 NHL Playoffs First Round Series Prices – Who has the Best Odds?

With the 2010 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs set to begin on Wednesday, here is a look at the different sportsbooks and their first round series odds.

Bet the 2010 Stanley Cup Playoffs

While most of the sportsbooks have similar odds, knowing where you can get the most bang for your buck is always important.

One thing that stands out is that Sports Interaction has a great discrepancy in their odds than the other sportsbooks. They offer less in the money lines for the underdogs and ask for more from the favorites. For instance, their line for the Washington Capitals is -909 while their line for the Montreal Canadiens is +455. Just by comparison SPORTSBETTING.com has the Capitals with a line of -600 while the Canadiens have a line of +430.

Most of the sportsbooks stick to the higher seeds as the favorite, but almost all have the Detroit Red Wings pulling an upset over the Phoenix Coyotes. The Wings range from lines of -250 from Sports Interaction to -180 from SPORTSBETTING.com.

Aside from the Canadiens, the Colorado Avalanche are the next biggest underdogs when they face the San Jose Sharks. The Avalanche have money lines of at least +320 in all sportsbooks with most ranging from +325 to +350.
