Not just any tight end, Dallas Clark is one of the best in the game and could be the key piece for the Indianapolis Colts in Super Bowl XLIV.

Oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com have put together prop odds for Dallas Clark as the Colts get set to face the New Orleans Saints on Sunday. Listed are odds for receptions, receiving yards, and Super Bowl MVP for
Clark.

Clark has had an amazing 2009-10 season, catching 100 passes for 1,106 yards and 10 touchdowns. But, during the playoffs,
Clark has been silenced a bit, catching just 11 passes for 94 yards and a score. During the year,
Clark has caught at least seven passes on 10 different occasions, and eclipsed the 50-yard mark in 12 games.

Clark has established himself as the safety valve for Peyton Manning and the two have the best chemistry between a quarterback and a tight end than any other duo in the NFL.
Clark has caught a pass of at least 20 yards in eight games this year and on the year, he has been targeted by Manning at least six times in all but three games.

With the injury to Reggie Wayne popping up late this week, there could be more pressure on
Clark to perform. On the flip side, if
Wayne is rendered ineffective because of the injury, the Saints may focus more on defending
Clark, which could hamper his statistics.

Because of the great year he has had,
Clark’s betting numbers are high. If he gets established in the game early, he should have no problem going over his totals, but if the Saints key in on him, it could be a long day for
Clark. We see him being a big part of this game, as both teams will be looking to score early and often.
