The Indianapolis Colts aren’t known for being a running team, but could Joseph Addai have a breakout game in Super Bowl XLIV?
Oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL.com have complied prop odds on Joseph Addai for Super Bowl XLIV, which include rushing attempts, rushing years, receiving yards, and odds to win the MVP.
Addai is the featured running back in the Colts offense and he will get his fair share of touches. In the regular season, Addai rushed for 828 yards on 219 carries with 10 touchdowns. In the playoffs, Addai has had 27 carries for 103 yards and no touchdowns.
Addai is also a big factor in the passing game. He had 51 catches for 336 yards and three touchdowns during the regular season and has had four catches for 27 yards in the playoffs. Addai has typically seen more action in the competitive games as three of his four highest rushing attempt totals come in games decided by 10 points or less. The New Orleans Saints also rank in the bottom half of the NFL in rushing defense, as they allow 122.2 yards on the ground per-game.
