Colts Offensive Props
The Indianapolis Colts have a tremendous offense, mainly due to Peyton Manning. Here is a look at the Colts Offensive Prop Bets for Super Bowl XLIV.
The Colts enter the Super Bowl as 5-point favorites over the New Orleans Saints according to online sports book SBGGLOBAL. The Over/Under for the game has been at 55.5.
One bet to consider for this game is the length of Manning’s longest completion. The over/under has been set at 39.5 yards. This season, Manning has eclipsed that just six times in 18 games. Now, the Saints defense does struggle, but Manning is more of a passer that consistently beats you down the field as opposed to looking for a 50-yard bomb. Now, what can’t be controlled in this bet is a missed tackle or two on a screen or short pass, but we like the under for this bet based on season trends.
Another under to consider is total rushing attempts by Joseph Addai. The over/under is set at 15.5. Addai has passed this total just eight times in 18 games. You would think Addai would get more carries in big victories where the Colts tried to run the clock down late, but he actually has gotten more carries in the games that were close and low scoring. Since this game should be high scoring and a game where Manning will be able to pass the ball with ease, look for Addai to not be a big factor running the ball.
