Colts Team Props
The Super Bowl wouldn’t be what it is without Prop Betting. Here is a look at prop bets for the Indianapolis Colts heading into Super Bowl XLIV.
The Colts enter the Super Bowl as 5-point favorites over the New Orleans Saints according to online sports book Brobury Sports. The Over/Under for the game has been at 55.5.
When breaking down the Colts prop bets, our writers and handicappers came up with a few bets to consider.
In terms of the team props, one to think about is the Over/Under for Different Colts to have a rushing attempt. The number is set at 3.5. We like the over here as in the last five games where the Colts have played their starters at least one half, they have had four different players with at least one rushing attempt. In both playoff games, Peyton Manning, Joseph Addai, Donald Brown, and Mike Hart have each had carries. Look for that trend to continue in the Super Bowl.
In player props, we like the over in total completions for Manning, which is set at 25.5. Manning has at least 26 completions in both playoff games this year and with the game expected to be an offensive showcase, he has a great chance to pass this mark against a shaky Saints secondary.
Another player prop to consider is the over for number of receptions for Pierre Garcon. The number is set at 4.5. Garcon has 16 catches in two playoff games this year and with Reggie Wayne likely to be the focal point of the Saint’s passing defense, look for Garcon to get a lot of looks from Manning.
