Saints Prop Odds
The Super Bowl wouldn’t be what it is without Prop Betting. Here is a look at prop bets for the New Orleans Saints heading into Super Bowl XLIV.
The Indianapolis Colts enter the Super Bowl as 5-point favorites over the Saints according to online sports book Brobury Sports. The Over/Under for the game has been at 55.5.
When breaking down the Saints prop bets, our writers and handicappers came up with a few bets to consider.
The first is in total rushing yards for the Saints. The Over/Under is set at 100.5. We like the over in this one as the Saints average 131.6 yards on the ground during the season and the Colts have given up 126.5 yards per-game on the ground. In the playoffs, the Saints are averaging 128.5 yards on the ground while the Colts are giving up just 86.5 yards. Remember though, that the Colts have been able to focus on stopping the run against the Jets and Ravens, which have inexperienced quarterbacks. That will not be the case against the Saints.
For Drew Brees we like him to go over the 1.5 touchdown passes mark that has been set for him for this game. Brees had at least two touchdown passes in nine of 16 regular season games this year and he has thrown three touchdown passes in each of his two playoff games. The Colts also may be without top pass rusher, Dwight Freeney, which should help Brees and the passing game.
Another over to look at is the length of Devery Henderson’s longest reception. The over/under is set at 17.5. In 10 games this year
