Alabama at Kentucky

No. 3 Alabama has played well at home and on a neutral field, now the Crimson Tide gets its first taste of playing on the road when they face Kentucky on Saturday at 12:21PM ET from Commonwealth Stadium.

Bet Alabama at Kentucky

A 4-0 start has the Tide feeling good, especially as Alabama has won by at least 10 points in each victory. The Alabama defense leads the SEC, allowing just 202 yards of offense per-game while holding opponents to 189 yards rushing total in four games. That defensive play has allowed Alabama to have the ball a lot, and the Tide have averaged 40.5 points and 490 yards per-game this season. Mark Ingram has rushed for 347 yards and four touchdowns while Trent Richardson has 280 yards and four scores for Alabama. Quarterback Greg McElroy has played solid as well, throwing for 938 yards and seven touchdowns over the four wins.

Kentucky hasn’t beaten Alabama since 1997, but did give the Tide all they could handle last year in a 17-14 defeat at home. This year, the Wildcats are 2-0 out of conference, but lost 41-7 last week to Florida. Kentucky is among the worst in the conference in points and yards per-game on offense as quarterback Mike Hartline has thrown for just 485 yards with four touchdowns and three interceptions for Kentucky. The Wildcats haven’t been able to establish a running game, with Derrick Locke leading the rushing attack with 169 yards in the three games. Defensively, Kentucky is among the bottom three in points and yards allowed per-game.
