State has struggled to a 1-2 record in 2009 under second-year coach Paul Wulff. The Cougars got their first win last week against Southern Methodist, 30-27. James Montgomery leads the rushing attack with 167 yards and one touchdown. Defensively, the Cougars rank last in the conference in points allowed, total yards allowed, passing yards allowed, and rushing yards allowed.
