With a week of games wrapped up, the 2009 College Football Season has a full slate of competitive games for week 2, which begins on Thursday night.

This week’s games should be more competitive and most Football Bowl Subdivision teams will face stiffer competition this week than last week. The highlighted game of the week will feature two top 10 teams when USC travels to

Ohio
State.

USC dismantled

Ohio
State last season 35-3 in the Coliseum, but this year, the Trojans are taking a true freshman quarterback into the Horseshoe. Oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL have made the Trojans 7-point road favorites in the game.

The Trojans cruised in their opener, a 56-3 win over San Jose State, while

Ohio
State needed everything it had to hold of Navy, in a 31-27 win over the Midshipmen.

Another notable game is between two local rivals when Notre Dame travels to
Ann Arbor to face

Michigan. The Irish are 4-point favorites heading into The Big House. Notre Dame is coming off an impressive 35-0 win over

Nevada last Saturday, while the Wolverines had an uplifting 31-7 win over Western Michigan following a tumultuous week for coach Rich Rodriguez.

Iowa will be looking to erase doubts following its narrow 17-16 win over Northern Iowa last weekend when the Hawkeyes face another in-state rival in

Iowa
State. The Hawkeyes are 7-point favorites on the road while the Cyclones are coming off a 34-17 win over North Dakota State last weekend.
