The Pittsburgh Steelers will see how Ben Roethlisberger is healing up on Saturday when they host the Buffalo Bills from Heinz Field at 7:30PM ET.

Roethlisberger missed last week’s 17-13 loss to the Washington Redskins after suffering an injury to his right foot during practice. Roethlisberger says he is not 100 percent, but will play in Saturday’s game.

Pittsburgh continues to keep a close eye on the development of second-year quarterback Dennis Dixon and second-year running back Rashard Mendenhall.

Dixon threw for 68 yards on 8-of-16 passing last week while Mendenhall had 26 yards rushing on five carries.

The Bills are still playing without Terrell Owens, who is nursing a sprained toe. The Bills are coming off a 31-21 loss to the Packers last weekend to fall to 1-2 in the preseason. Trent Edwards struggled in the loss, going 7-for-11 passing for 45 yards with one interception. Dominic Rhodes had 40 yards rushing on seven carries for the Bills while Xavier Omon caught two passes for 61 yards and had a rushing touchdown.

Oddsmakers from online sports book SBGGLOBAL have made the Steelers 6-point home favorites over the Bills. The over/under total for this game has been set at 36.

The trends favor
Buffalo as it is 1-0 against the spread versus

Pittsburgh over the last three years and is 5-1 ATS as an underdog.

Pittsburgh is also 1-5 ATS after an under. The one matchup between these two teams in the last three seasons went over the total.

With this being the third preseason game, the starters on both teams will likely play the entire first half.
Pittsburgh won’t get too risky with Roethlisberger though and will continue to look to establish the run with their backs and backup

Dixon.
Buffalo is still without its key weapons and could struggle in

Pittsburgh.
