The Steelers got a scare on Friday, as quarterback Ben Roethlisberger injured his right foot after left tackle Max Starks fell into Roethlisberger during practice.  Roethlisbergerโ€™s injury should open more playing time for Charlie Batch and Dennis Dixon.
Dixon made his NFL debut last week in
Pittsburghโ€™s 20-10 win over

Arizona
, as he threw for 112 yards on 10-of-19 passing. Shaun McDonald caught six passes for 69 yards in the win as well.

The Redskins didnโ€™t have much to cheer about following a 23-0 loss to

Baltimore
in their preseason opener.

Washington
โ€™s defense allowed 500 yards of offense to the Ravens and starting quarterback Jason Campbell threw for just 38 yards. Clinton Portis sat out the opener while Rock Cartrwright had 24 yards rushing on six carries. D.J. Hackett had two receptions for 28 yards in the loss as well.

Oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com have made the Redskins 3-point favorites in this contest. The over/under total has been set at 33.

Pittsburgh is 15-9 with the over as a road underdog and 1-0 straight up against

Washington
in the last three seasons. The one meeting in that span went under the total points.

Washington is 1-9 ATS after scoring nine points or less in a game and is 1-0 ATS against

Pittsburgh
over the last three seasons.

Game time is set for 7:30PM ET from FedEx Field with a 60 percent chance of rain in the forecast for kickoff.
