ARIZONA: The Cardinals lost for the 10th time in their last 11 games when they fell 28-13 to the Bears in Week 16. Ryan Lindley completed 17-of-30 passes for 141 yards with one interception before giving way to Brian Hoyer, who completed 11-of-19 passes for 105 yards and a pick. LaRod Stephens-Howling led the team in rushing with only 20 yards on 11 carries, while Larry Fitzgerald caught eight passes for 111 yards. The loss dropped Arizona’s record to 5-10 overall and 6-8-1 against the spread after failing to cover the 7-point spread versus Chicago. The Cardinals are currently fighting for a top 10 draft pick next April.

SAN FRANCISCO: The 49ers lost for the first time in three weeks but they were absolutely crushed 42-13 by the Seahawks last Sunday night. Colin Kaepernick completed 19-of-36 yards for 244 yards with one touchdown and one interception and also rushed seven times for 31 yards. Frank Gore was also held to 28 rushing yards on six carries while Michael Crabtree caught four passes for 65 yards and Randy Moss caught three passes for 44 yards. Vernon Davis left the game with a concussion in the first half and Mario Manningham was placed on IR after tearing his ACL and PCL. The 49ers need to beat the Cardinals to win the NFC West Divisional crown but they need Green Bay to lose to Minnesota in order to clinch the No. 2 seed in the NFC.

ODDS: According to oddsmakers from online sports book, the 49ers are 16.5-point favorites over the Cardinals, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 39.5 points. Arizona is 5-10 overall and 1-6 on the road this season, while San Francisco is 10-4 overall and 5-1 at home.

TRENDS: The under is 4-1 in the last five meetings between these two teams in San Francisco and 5-2 in the last seven meetings overall. The favorite is also 4-1 against the spread in their last five meetings while the road team is 10-4 ATS in the last 14 meetings overall. The Cardinals are also 1-7 against the spread in the last eight meetings between these two teams.
