NEW ORLEANS: The Saints are coming off a 23-13 loss at Atlanta last week. The Saints have now lost two straight after fighting to get to .500. Drew Brees had his streak of 54-straight games with a touchdown pass come to an end in the loss to Atlanta. He still threw for 341 yards on 28 of 50 passing, but he had five interceptions. As an offense, New Orleans had 436 total yards and the defense held the Falcons to 283 yards, but the five turnovers were too much for New Orleans to overcome. The Saints are currently the worst rushing defense in the league, allowing 153.8 yards per game on the ground.

NEW YORK: The Giants are coming off a 17-16 loss to the Redskins last Monday night. The Giants have now lost three of their last four games to see their lead in the NFC East shrink to just one game over the Redskins and Cowboys. New York was able to amass 390 yards of offense in the loss, and didn’t have a single turnover, but the yardage didn’t translate into points. Eli Manning threw for 280 yards on 20 of 33 passing with one touchdown. Ahmad Bradshaw also had a solid game, rushing for 103 yards on 24 carries. Defensively, the Giants allowed the Redskins to rush for 207 yards on them.

The Giants are 7-5 on the season, 4-2 at home and 5-6-1 against the spread. The Saints come into this game 5-7 overall, 3-3 at home and 6-6 against the spread.

TRENDS: The trends for this game show that the Saints are 4-1 against the spread in their last 5 meetings with the Giants, but just 1-4 ATS in their last 5 trips to New York. The favorite and the home team is 7-1 against the spread in the last 8 games of this series. These two teams have hit the under in 5 of their last 6 meetings in New York.
