2013 Super Bowl Odds: Week 12

(The Spread) – Oddsmakers have updated the latest 2013 Super Bowl odds and the Houston Texans stand alone at the top.

According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Texans are currently 5/1 favorites to win the 2013 Super Bowl heading into Week 12 of the NFL season. The Denver Broncos and New England Patriots have the next best odds at 11/2, respectively, while the San Francisco 49ers are 13/2 and the Green Bay Packers are 7/1.

Heading into Week 11 the Texans were 19/4 favorites, followed by the Broncos and Patriots at 6/1, then the 49ers were 7/1 and the Packers were 15/2. After a near catastrophe against the Arizona Cardinals last Sunday, the Atlanta Falcons’ 2013 Super Bowl odds remain 9/1 while the Chicago Bears have dropped from 10/1 to 15/1 after they were crushed by the 49ers on Monday Night Football.

Continuing with the latest odds, the Baltimore Ravens are now 12/1 after being 14/1 last week, while the New York Giants have gone from 12/1 to win the 2013 Super Bowl, to 14/1. And after losing to the Ravens on Sunday Night Football last week (plus the loss of quarterback Ben Roethlisberger to injury), the Steelers have gone from 14/1 all the way down to 22/1.

Some current long shots to keep an eye on are the New Orleans Saints at 25/1, the Dallas Cowboys at 28/1, and the Seattle Seahawks at 30/1. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are also intriguing at 60/1 and the Minnesota Vikings (90/1), Cincinnati Bengals (100/1), and Indianapolis Colts (100/1) are all fighting for a postseason berth as well.
