The completion allowed the Falcons to move into field goal range for a Matt Bryant game-winning 40-yard field goal. Cam Newton currently leads the Panthers with 1,013 passing yards, 167 rushing yards and three total touchdowns. Dwan Edwards has 3.5 sacks while Jon Beason has one interception. The Panthers are now 1-3 overall and 2-2 against the spread, while the over is 2-2 through four weeks.
ODDS: Oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv have installed the Panthers as 3-point home favorites over the Seahawks, while the over/under total is currently sitting at 43.5 points. Seattle is 2-2 overall and 0-2 on the road, while Carolina is 1-3 overall and 1-1 at home.
TRENDS: The home team is 4-1 against the spread in the last five meetings between these two teams while the under is 4-0 in the Seahawks’ last four games overall. The Seahawks are also 17-37-2 ATS in their last 56 road games, while the Panthers are 6-2 ATS in their last eight games in Week 5.
