Oddsmakers from online sports book Sportsbook.com list several National Anthem props for Christina Aguilera. For the prop, “How long will it take Christina Aguilera to Sing the Star Spangled Banner from starting note to last note sung,” she’s –170 on the money line to go over 1 minute and 54 seconds, and +130 to go under 1 minute and 54 seconds. She’s also –120 on the money line to hold the note “BRAVE” for over six seconds and under six seconds.
For the prop, “Who will the MVP thank first,” God is even, while teammates is +200, “Does not thank anyone” is +300, family is +400 and “coach” is a long shot at +900 on the money line.
God is also one of the favorites to be thanked by the winning head coach at +120, although the true favorite in that novelty prop is “Team” at –150. “Does not thank anyone” is +400, while “Family” is +800 and “coaching staff” is the long shot at +1000.
There are even props on what color the Gatorade shower will be at the end of the game. Yellow is the favorite at –120, while clear/water is +150 and orange is +500. Lime green is +550, while red and blue are the long shots at +1200. The last time the Steelers won the Super Bowl (XLIII), the Gatorade was yellow.
There are a couple of humorous TV prop bets, including “How Many Times will FOX show Jerry Jones on TV during the Game.” Live pictures are the only ones that count – any taped photos or past video does not apply to the wager. For that bet, the over 3 is +125, while the under 3 is –165.
For the prop bet, “How many times will FOX mention Brett Favre on TV during the game,” the over 2.5 is –200, while the under 2.5 is +150. One would think that with Aaron Rodgers playing, Favre would be mentioned quite a lot on Super Bowl Sunday.
