Updated BCS National Title Odds
(The Spread) – The 11th week of the College Football Season saw the biggest upset of the year. Here is a new look at the odds to win this season’s BCS National Championship.
According to oddsmakers from Bovada.lv, Oregon is the new favorite to win, as the Ducks have odds of 6/5 to win the national title. Other short odds to win are Kansas State (7/5), Notre Dame (6/1) and Alabama (6/1).
Oregon is No. 1 in the AP poll and No. 2 in the BCS Standings. Oregon is 10-0 on the season and 7-0 in the Pac-12. The Ducks have been rolling all year, beating Cal 59-17 last week. The Ducks face Stanford this week in what could be their toughest game of the season.
Kansas State holds the top spot in the BCS Standings. The Wildcats are No. 2 in the AP poll. Kansas State is 10-0 on the season and 7-0 in the Big 12. The Wildcats are coming off a 23-10 win over TCU and are just two wins away from an unbeaten season. They will face Baylor and Texas over the next three weeks.
Notre Dame is No. 3 in the AP poll and the BCS Standings. The Fighting Irish are 10-0 on the year. They are coming off a 21-6 win at Boston College. Notre Dame has two games left against Wake Forest and USC.
Alabama is No. 4 in both the AP poll and the BCS Standings. The Crimson Tide are now 9-1 overall and 6-1 in the SEC following a 29-24 loss to Texas A&M at home on Saturday. Alabama can still win the SEC and will likely be the first 1-loss team to get a BCS nod if the unbeatens lose.
