Updated Western Conference Odds
(TheSpread) – The NBA Western Conference appears to be a three-horse race, as three teams have short odds to win. Here is a look at the odds to win this year’s conference title. According to oddsmakers at Bovada.lv, the Oklahoma City Thunder are the slight favorite to win the West, as they have odds of +180 to win. Other short odds to win are the San Antonio Spurs (+260) and the Los Angeles Clippers (+260). The Thunder are the defending Western Conference champions. They currently have the second-best record in the West at 39-14, and they hold a 6.5-game lead on the Denver Nuggets in the Northwest Division. The Spurs are currently 42-12, which is the best record in the entire NBA. The Spurs have a 7.5-game lead on the Memphis Grizzlies in the Southwest Division. San Antonio last won the Western Conference in 2007. The Clippers are 39-17 this season and have the third-best record in the conference. Los Angeles is also ahead in the Pacific Division by 7 games. The Clippers have never won the conference title in franchise history.
