PITCHING MATCHUP: The Tigers will start Max Scherzer, who is 14-4 with a 2.98 ERA, while the Rays will counter with Chris Archer, who is 8-6 with a 3.24 ERA. Detroit is 66-56 overall and 33-27 on the road, while Tampa Bay is 61-63 on the year and 28-34 at home.
