Los Angeles Dodgers Fantasy Spin
Corey Seager blasted a three-run homer in the Dodgers’ lopsided defeat at the hands of the Nationals on Sunday. Seager took Nationals reliever Michael Blazek deep to right-center field with the Dodgers trailing 11-1 in the ninth inning. It was his lone hit in four at-bats and certainly didn’t change the outcome of this one, but fantasy owners will absolutely take it. It was his first round-tripper since June 3. The 25-year-old shortstop is hitting .277/.356/.453 with 47 runs scored, nine home runs, 46 RBI and one stolen base in 329 plate appearances. When healthy, he’s an elite offensive performance at the position.
Colorado Rockies Fantasy Spin
Trevor Story went 1-for-5 with a double in Sunday’s loss to the Reds. Story picked up double No. 26 on the season in the loss. The All-Star shortstop is hitting .283/.346/.546 with 22 home runs and 58 RBI in 93 games this season. He is currently in the midst of a little home run drought, having not gone yard since back on July 17.
