O’s roll past Angels
Baltimore secured a 9-3 victory Friday night at Los Angeles to improve to 34-69 overall and 19-33 on the road. Renato Nunez helped lead the Orioles offense as he went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs. Trey Mancini was 2-for-5 with a homer, two runs scored and two RBIs. Anthony Santander ended the contest 3-for-4 with a double, a run and three RBIs. Jonathan Villar was 2-for-3 with a walk, a stolen base and three runs scored. Los Angeles struggled Friday night in a 9-3 home loss to Baltimore to drop to 54-51 overall and 27-25 at home. Mike Trout and Brian Goodwin were both 1-for-4 with a double. Nick Tropeano took the loss as he allowed seven earned runs on six hits with three strikeouts and three walks over five innings of work. MLB Betting Trends
Baltimore
The Orioles are 85-203 in their last 288 games overall. Baltimore is 14-41 in its last 55 Saturday games.
Los Angeles
The Angels are 0-4 in their last four home games. Los Angeles is 8-3 in its last 11 Saturday games.
Prediction:
Los Angeles has been underwhelming the last two days against the lowly Orioles, but tonight should be a different story. While the Angels are still deciding on their starting pitcher, one thing is for certain and that is they should get to Brooks plus the Orioles bullpen early and often. It will be interesting to see who LA puts on the mound and what the moneyline will be, but I love the Angels to avoid a third straight loss to a bad team.
