Atlanta Braves Fantasy Spin
Tyler Flowers homered to give the Braves their lone run Tuesday against the Brewers. The Braves have mostly been riding Brian McCann’s surprising showing, but he’s slowed way down or late, and Flowers currently has the better OPS of the two (.775 to .755). It’d seem to be worth giving him more playing time.
Milwaukee Brewers Fantasy Spin
Keston Hiura went 3-for-3 with a homer, two walks and three runs scored as the Brewers crushed the Braves 13-1 on Tuesday. Hiura is still striking out plenty, but he’s started to walk some in his second stint with the Brewers. Even excluding the one intentional pass tonight, he has five walks in his last eight games, a nice change from the three he had in his first 24 games as a big leaguer. He’s also homered three times and swiped four bases during the eight-game span.
MLB Betting Trends
Atlanta
The Braves have won eight of their last nine games coming off a loss.
Milwaukee
The Braves have dropped four out of Chase Anderson’s last five starts.
Prediction:
The Braves are just 2-5 in their last seven games versus the Brewers at Miller Park, while the Brewers have won seven out of their last nine games at home when facing a left-handed starter. Milwaukee has also won 10 of its last 14 games after its opponent allowed five runs or more in its previous game. Perhaps yesterday’s win will spark this talented but underachieved Brewers club.
The Pick: Milwaukee Brewers -120
