Alex Bregman homered and doubled twice Wednesday to lead the Astros to an 8-3 win over the Red Sox. The runs batted in were his first of the month. He came into the night in a 12-for-61 slump over his last 15 games. He still has just two homers in his last 30 games.
Boston Red Sox DFS Spin
Eduardo Rodriguez didn’t factor into the decision Saturday after allowing three runs in 5 1/3 innings against the Yankees. Rodriguez gave up a two-run shot to Gleyber Torres and was charged for another run after Gleyber Torres picked up a sac fly. Outside of that, the left-hander was fine, and he struck out seven, issued one walk and scattered five hits in the contest. There have been many starts like this one for the southpaw, and he has a 5.51 ERA over a dozen starts. Next up for Rodriguez is a tilt against the Astros, scheduled for Thursday.
Astros vs. Red Sox Betting Prediction
The Astros are 8-3 in their last 11 games at Fenway Park and are 5-1 in their last six games versus Boston. They’re also 4-1 in their last five games as a favorite, are 4-0 in their last four road games versus a left-handed starter and are 8-2 in their last 10 games overall. On the other side, the Red Sox are just 1-6 in their last seven games versus American League West rivals and are 8-22 in their last 30 games as a home dog.
